Book Links Wall Street Crisis to Obama's

Author set to appear at Tea Party events in October

Author William E. Been experienced the Wall Street crisis firsthand when his wife lost her job at JPMorgan in early 2008. As he followed news reports and learned more about the government bailouts, Been began researching what would become Masters of Audacity and Deceit, his recent book linking the presidency of Barack Obama to the “October Surprise” of the Wall Street crisis.

Been will appear at a number of public events scheduled for October 2010, including the Freedom Celebration and Tea Party held on the Indiana County Courthouse steps in Indiana, Pennsylvania starting at 2 p.m.

“My book is about political cunning being used to establish the timing of the crisis and frighten the American people,” says Been, who used over 500 documents for the book. “I was truly amazed at what I learned and think people need to know the details behind Lehman Brothers' failure and the role of Timothy Geithner—just two examples from a complex story.”
