Rival Technologies Inc. (Börsenkürzel: R1W (A0HHCZ) has entered into its first license agreement relating to commercial development and use of TRU Technology. This agreement provides the Licensee with worldwide rights to TRU Technology when used in combination with a separate hydro-treating technology; and allows Rival to continue to develop and license TRU as a stand alone technology with other oil heavy oil producers and refiners.
This first license will help advance TRU Technology to commercial use, and provide revenue to Rival through payment of license fees and royalties.
TRU Technology is a ground breaking process for upgrading bitumen and heavy oil to synthetic crude oil. The TRU process takes heavy oil or bitumen at the field level and produces a pipeline grade synthetic crude oil. It offers a cost effective, environmentally sensitive solution to oil producers, saving them millions in transportation and refining costs.
