Michelle Dale, guest blogger for StraightLinePersuasion.com says that you should never "underestimate the power of persuasion. If you cannot master this, you simply cannot succeed in life. Think about it – everything that you want or need in life you have to get from others. Everything has a price but the price may not necessarily be the same for everybody. Don't focus on the money. When I talk about "price" this is not necessarily what I mean. To be successful you have to be able to persuade others to your way of thinking, whether it be to sell them something that you are marketing or in any number of different ways."
Host Michelle Dale says: "Effective communication and persuasion are two skills that you simply have to possess if you want to be successful in life. The skills represent your path toward promotion as you chase a career, or your journey toward independence and financial wealth if you are a self-employed entrepreneur."
At this point she goes on to say: "When you've mastered the art of communication and persuasion you feel in control of whatever situation you find yourself in. You won't shy away from a challenge because you understand how to use the tools in your arsenal and you know what strategies to put in place to overcome a difficult situation."
Michelle, online service provider and renowned guest blogger for www.StraightLinePersuasion.com then drives home the point that: "When we talk about persuasion we must, however, understand that there are two distinct approaches. You certainly don't want to persuade others in an aggressive manner through some kind of threat or coercion."
She then emphasises that we should all endeavour to become "the master at understanding human psychology and behaviour. Did you know that it is estimated that more than 90% of the purchase reasons associated with a particular product or service are subconscious? Many of the decisions that we make are made for reasons that we do not fully understand."
Michelle Dale then points out that: "If you think about how much information we are bombarded with on a regular basis perhaps it is not surprising that we choose to function this way. However, when you understand psychology and human nature you can use the rules of persuasion as a very powerful tool, capitalising on your understanding. Don't forget though that to be successful requires you to not only be a master of the art of persuasion, but to also recognise how others may seek to use persuasion on you."
As if she simply cannot drive home the point strongly enough, Michelle once again says, "Never underestimate the power of persuasion."
