Dr. Dan Interview

Former Army Honor Guard and retired Bolingbrook Police Senior Sergeant Drew Peterson has been held mostly in isolation at the Will County Illinois Jail for well over three years now. His bail is set at a record $20 million dollars. Peterson has never been tried for the alleged murder of his third wife Kathleen Savio Peterson. However, Jury selection has been scheduled to possibly start again on July 23 2012. Learn about Drew Peterson’s opinion regarding this saga in “Analyzing Monsters” to be officially released July 15, 2012 – www.DrewPetersonSaga.com.

Peterson defense attorney Joel Brodsky has repeatedly challenged that there is no real evidence (just hearsay and conjecture) that Kathleen was murdered let alone Peterson is a murderer. Brodsky has repeatedly asked that Peterson be set free until the trial or at least the $20 million dollar bail be reduced. Peterson received world- wide condemnation and immediate media conviction when Peterson’s fourth wife Stacy and mother of Anthony and Lacy Ann was reported of Peterson foul play by her sister, a neighbor and a local reporter on the day Stacy disappeared. Stacy’s mother Christie Toutges Cales also disappeared prior to knowing Peterson and has never been found.

Peterson adamantly claims Stacy took $25,000 and ran off with another man. Other missing area women at the time included Lisa Stebic and Anu Salanki. Lisa looks like Stacy and like Stacy has never been found. Did her husband kill Lisa? Did the areas human trafficking network take Lisa? Was Stacy tricked and taken by human traffickers looking for type specific women like Lisa and Stacy?

No charges have been filed yet in Lisa’s disappearance. The police found Anu Solanki’s still running abandoned car near a Deplanes river bridge shortly after her husband reported her missing after she went out to dispose of a broken Buddha. Her body was discovered weeks later thousands of miles away in California very much alive and living with her boyfriend. She ran away from her husband and life to be with her new boyfriend. The media of course dropped this story immediately.

In addition to charging Peterson with murder, Will County District Attorney James Glasgow attempted and failed to convict Peterson of owning a short barrel rifle. Illinois law has decided that it is illegal to own such a weapon. However it is not illegal for a police officer to own this weapon. At the time of this charge Peterson was the active Senior Police Sergeant in Bolingbrook. Peterson and his defense attorneys presented not only written permission for Peterson to own the weapon but videos of the weapon being used in police officer training.

Glasgow helped write the “Drew Peterson Hearsay Law” in his quest to convict Peterson using hearsay. When Glasgow eventually realized Illinois already had a more lenient hearsay law Glasgow fought and petitioned to remove his new hearsay law. This maneuver has been a primary reason for Peterson’s delayed trial. “Analyzing Monsters” reveals more “tricks of the trade” today’s prosecutors are getting away with. Glasgow has also been cited by now retired Judge White for delaying and withholding evidence of Peterson’s innocence. Judge White’s replacement Judge Edward Bermila has also heavily confronted Glasgow of wrong doing in attempting to keep Peterson attorneys (located in separate buildings) from communicating with each other by email.

Kathleen’s death was ruled a tub accident by Will County’s Medical examiner and a grand jury shortly after her death. Whitney Houston’s recent tub drowning and statistics on this common hazard especially when combined with drugs presents one more challenge for Glasgow. Peterson’s alibi was iron clad in that his new wife Stacy Peterson (pregnant with Anthony) and two teen children verified they were with him the entire weekend, Peterson’s Police officer son Stephen and his then girlfriend were also in the basement the weekend Kathleen died. Kathleen was with her assumed future fiancé the weekend she died and that is why Peterson had all four youngest children for the Chicago museum tour the weekend Kathleen died.

Dr. Michael Baden of OJ Simpson trial fame conducted the second autopsy at the height of the Peterson backlash on the exhumed remains of Kathleen Savio. Baden disagreed with the original medical coroner and inquest panel and determined now that Kathleen was a murder victim.

Illinois was one of the first of states to be challenged with an Innocence Project. When DNA evidence freed 13 innocent inmates on death row the state dropped its death penalty. All states but Tennessee and Oregon now have innocence projects. Please support these tremendous efforts. What if it were you or someone you loved were in jail or prison for just being unlucky to be living in the USA with our out of control monstrous ‘modern’ systems?
