The OCON website is up!

Ayn Rand called Objectivism “a philosophy for living on earth,” and she taught that the purpose of philosophy is to help you live a more satisfying and productive life. The purpose of OCON is to help you on that path.

OCON is offering over 30 different talks, courses and events! Here’s just a small sample:

  • The Moral and the Practical by Onkar Ghate
  • State of the Culture — Q&A with Harry Binswanger and Yaron Brook
  • Making Your Life Happier by Ellen Kenner and Edwin A. Locke
  • Heroes and Hero Worship by Andrew Bernstein
  • Chicago Reach for the Stars by Jonathan Hoenig, Shoshana Milgram and Stephen Siek
  • Understanding Your Emotions by Jean Moroney
  • The History of England by Andrew Lewis
  • Architectural Tour of Selected Frank Lloyd Wright Houses
  • Film Screening and Discussion of “Love Letters,” a 1945 film with screenplay adapted by Ayn Rand

We have arranged a special discount rate for conference attendees at our host facility, the Westin Michigan Avenue, and reservations are now available. For more information, please see our Lodging page

We look forward to creating a unique and memorable conference in Chicago and we hope you will join us!
