The Foreign and Commonwealth Office is now advising against all but essential travel to the regions Kharkiv, Donetsk and Lugansk in eastern Ukraine. This is because of increased regional tensions.

The FCO continues to advise against all travel to Crimea, and advises any British nationals remaining in Crimea to leave.

Travel advice for the rest of Ukraine remains unchanged, but we continue to advise all British nationals to take great care and remain vigilant in all parts of the country.

Click here for the full FCO travel advice for Ukraine. FCO travel advice is kept under constant review, and we advise all travellers and British nationals in Ukraine to monitor our travel advice regularly because of the unstable situation.
