Vladimir Putin Will Make Working Trips To The Urals And Far Eastern Federal Districts On August 31 – September 2

On August 31, the President will make s trip to Chelyabinsk to attend the closing ceremony of the World Judo Championship that brought together 639 athletes from 120 countries.

On September 1, Vladimir Putin will meet with students and teachers of the North-Eastern Federal University.

The President will also hold a meeting to discuss state support for priority investment projects on the advanced development territory in the Far East. The meeting will be attended by heads of federal ministries, regional heads and CEOs of major companies.

On the same day, Vladimir Putin will take part in a ceremony launching the construction of the first section of the Sila Sibiri gas pipeline designed to supply gas both to domestic market and to the People’s Republic of China.

On September 2, the President will make a working trip to Amur Region to inspect the reconstruction of the Chita-Khabarovsk highway, check the status of construction works on the Vostochny space launch centre and hold a meeting to discuss its development.
