Each day, dozens of readers of my columns write me with great concern over the demise of our country. They present fresh ideas on what to write about from their perspectives. They anguish as much as I anguish.

A few months back, I wrote a story about Black Americans being thrown under the bus by our U.S. Congress importing over 100,000 new legal immigrants every 30 days. Those immigrants displace Blacks from jobs, housing, schools and medical care. That one article inspired a number of Black readers to write me with their thoughts.

Additionally, I work with top scientists around this country worried sick over adding 100 million immigrants to our country within the next 37 years. I implore everyone to take action. I’ve written columns asking readers to write, visit and educate the media. Few readers followed up or did anything. That illustrates the nature of average Americans: non-involvement, not in my back yard, I am not interested, I don’t care, I’ve got mine, I’m too apathetic, I can’t make a difference, etc.

To that I say, great people self-select great issues to change the world. Action drives their destinies and action pushes their agendas. Action takes them to the top of any mountain of any kind anywhere in the world. Everyone in this movement to stop mass immigration generates their success through their actions. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. self-selected his destiny to change the Black man’s history in America.

One Black man wrote me the following letter that I feel needs publication:

Benjamin said, “Thank you for the email and your thoughts. Do I agree with them? Yes. Up to a point. As an older Black man, I have often wondered why my race is included in the term "multi-culturalism". After all, Black people have been actively involved in the history of this country since its inception. We have fought and died for the decree that "all men are created equal". We have fought for the most important "right" this country has to offer. That is the right to vote and participate in the future of this great country.

“Yes. Immigration is a problem. Especially illegal immigration. And yes there are too many voices... none of which want to assimilate into the American culture. I find that the majority of immigrants want this country to adapt to their specific culture, language and mores. And that ain't going to happen any time soon. So what you have is a form of anarchy, with each culture fighting to be uppermost for what this country has to offer. (Did that make sense?)

“I blame it on the government for not establishing rules and sticking to them. I blame the government for allowing the gangs to flourish (I witnessed this one first hand). For allowing drugs into the country. For allowing assault weapons into the country.

“As for food stamps. That's a joke. The people that need them don't get them, re: the elderly, infirm, unwed mothers (regardless of what has been said), widows, people who can't work, etc. I have given up. Because of MSM and Alternate media, I have been typecast as a violent black man, an ape if you will, with uncontrollable sexual desires who is just itching to ravish the white female. THAT is the meme that has been ascribed to me.

“I have read that you have traveled this country from one end to the next and have talked to all kinds of people, if that is so, then you know my words are true. Mr. Wooldridge, this is not a country. This is just three hundred million people with three hundred million versions about how this country should be. Therefore... this part of North American cannot exist for very much longer. And "no" multi-culturalism isn't doing us any good. But please exclude Black people from the definition of this term. We don't deserve this.

To Benjamin, I thank you for your words and thoughts. Since Black Americans have been a part of America and we have shared a common history for 400 plus years, I don’t and have not ever counted Black Americans as an aspect of “multiculturalism.”

What we face as to Middle Easterners (Muslims in particular) with incompatible religions, Mexicans, Asians, and other countries with cultural poverty and many other countries whose immigrants will not meld into the great American mosaic—that’s what I write to stop because it’s not working. It’s failing miserably on multiple levels.

As to the sheer numbers, I fear, yes fear for the future of our civilization no matter if you are white, black, brown, red or yellow. We’re all in this boat together and we need to stop importing more people into the American lifeboat. We are already sinking under the legal and illegal immigration onslaught.
