Of course, fourinch (and more) heels are designed for the red carpet or other special moments, rather than everyday wear. If you do wear such vertiginous high heels, don’t forget to take a break between occasions to allow your feet to recover. Doing so will help you continue to be able to wear very high heels even at an older age!
The short ankle boot and shoe boot is a fairly new creation and this season is featured prominently by discerning style mavens all over the world. Originally designed and worn to show off a smooth line at the trouser hem, you can now find them with dresses and skirts. They add a little hint of toughness to an otherwise more feminine look.
Also new for this season is the elastic band strap, or tie bow, or bar-strap that gives the shoe a little extra support. Since the very high heel is so trendy, having that extra support across the top of the ankle makes walking easier. That ankle bar will give any woman a little extra confidence in her footwear, and nothing says sexy like confidence.
Once again, this season also sees the return of roses and bows to add decorative trim to both boots and shoes in high heels and flats. Leather is always fashionable, but this season suede is strongly featured. This is especially attractive in above the knee boots that highlight a soft, fold down cuff.
With bespoke ladies boots the sky is literally the limit for style choices. Any color can be selected, but this season’s overwhelming favorite is shades of purple. If you also choose a concealed platform with crazy high heels you will be at the height of fashion for this season.
