“The rebasing of a thirty seater BAE Jetstream 41 will allow Brindabella Airlines to offer the aircraft of choice to passengers and improve our ex Sydney network. The change resulting in route capacity increasing by up to 65 per cent will effectively allow us to meet passenger demand” said Fabrice Binet, the airlines Chief Commercial Officer.

Positioning the Jetstream 41 in Sydney is the first step for the airline introducing fleet standardisation; resulting in lower costs, improved on time performance, to effectively create a more economically viable product to the customer. The change will further improve Brindabella Airline’s service delivery to passengers departing Sydney by availing the airlines friendly in flight cabin crew service to them. The Jetstream 41 aircraft, with its niche capacity for an aircraft of its class, offers timely travel to destinations within the 1,000 kilometre range.

The move of base for this aircraft is an important next step in Aeropelican and Brindabella Airlines ongoing diversification plans to respond to the demands of regional air travel in Australia and to be recognised as the wings of regional Australia.
